Managing Events Short Online Course:

Learn how to plan and successfully deliver events for: corporate, family, recreation, social and sport. By completing this short interactive course, you will acquire fundamental skills which will help you manage all kinds of functions.

The course will allow you to start to organise private and public events and can be a stepping stone to more in-depth training in event management.

You will learn about how important proper event planning is plus the different stages, from concept and planning, right through to getting it right on the day. Managing Events also covers how to organise different functions, needed to become a successful events manager or organiser.

Lesson 2- Developing a concept and planning

Lesson 3- Organising the resources required

Lesson 4 - Catering: Food and Drink

Lesson 5- Promoting an event

Lesson 6- Managing the clientele

Lesson 7-  Risk management, legalities and contingency planning

Lesson 8- Delivering the event

Lesson 9- Organising celebrations and parties

Lesson 10- Organising exhibitions

Lesson 11- Organising conferences and seminars

Lesson 12- Working in the events industry

COURSE ASSESSMENT:

This course is completed entirely online, including lessons, self-assessment tests, plus obtaining your certificate at the end, which is immediately downloadable after successful completion. Please note that there is no tutor support, as it is not required. The assessment breakdown is as follows:

1. Study lesson 1.
2. When you are ready, take the self-assessment test. Retake until you reach the required level of learning.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the following 11 lessons.
4. Take the final assessment.
5. Download your certificate of completion, with your name on it.

Now you are ready to stand out at a job interview, or put your newly acquired knowledge to use straightaway.
